The project is a full renovation and transformation of an apartment located in a building from the 1940s into a new, more open design. The apartment hasn’t seen even minor repairs for more than 40 years. The layout is preserved almost intact. We added another bathroom and removed three interior doors, to acquire and maximize usable space and to meet modern needs while retaining its former charm.
The owners wanted to keep the original double doors and the herringbone pattern floor. The existing oak parquet required re-fixing and refinishing, to be restored. More pictures soon.
